Aslan is on the move . . . !!! We just love it when we're going about our days working out our plans, believing we're in God's will - but sometimes having that nagging doubt - when all of a sudden He lets His hand be seen. It's amazing to think that another year of Jammin' Java is coming to a close, but it's true! We've been running these every other weekend (or so) for the past three years and have seen more and more people coming out each year. It's exciting to meet all the bands in the area, as well as the aspiring artists who come out and share during OPEN MIC NIGHT - which will culminate our year this Saturday! During the month of April, it's always hard to find sponsors for the festival and I have no doubt that this year will be no exception. With taxes coming due, the economic hardships and other demands on people’s income, there’s little left for giving to a summer festival. I often hear how trivial this is in light of the many other pressures of life. However, one of the greatest strengths of the festival is the very fact that it provides as escape from those pressures of life – not an escape from reality, not an escape from responsibility, but an escape to the arms of God.

The Fifth Annual Spirit Midwest Christian Music Festival will provide thirty hours of spirit-filled worship and praise, anchored in the Gospel of Christ. Along with over thirty bands, we will have guest speakers to share the Gospel in a variety of ways, provide an inflatable village, food and merchandise vendors, onsite camping for everything from tents to RVs and so much more!

Spirit Midwest is 100% funded through the generous donations of individuals and businesses who believe – not only in the ministry of the festival – but also in the many other aspects of Spirit Midwest: short-term mission trips, local outreaches and monthly concerts. We would love to include you on that list of sponsors. Your donation would help us bring national headliners to our festival, feed orphans in Tijuana, repair homes in the inner city and so much more!
