Join Our Street Team!

Wow! I can’t believe it’s only a month until the Fourth Annual Spirit Midwest Christian Music Festival! We have many new things lined up this year that are sure to be fantastic additions to the day. I pray that you are planning to join us this year and would love to add you to our ever-growing Street Team. All you have to do is click below to download our poster, bulletin inserts or PowerPoint and then distribute them everywhere, including:

  •  Apartment complexes (mailboxes, bulletin boards, etc)
  •  Local businesses
     •  Grocery stores
     •  Laundromats
     •  Restaurants
     •  Gas stations
     •  Drug stores
     •  Anyone who’s willing!!
  •  Vacant businesses (tape it right on the window)
  •  Local churches (including yours, of course!)
     •  When you ask churches to put up posters, also ask them to distribute our bulletin inserts

If you or any of the churches you speak with are unable to print the posters or bulletin inserts, we’ll be happy to send out a packet with either or both. Just let me know!

The festival cannot impact the people of Central Iowa if they don’t know about it.

I do believe that God has called us to the ministry of Spirit Midwest and that He has a plan and a purpose for the people who will be ministered to - not just the attendees but also the bands, speakers, volunteers, etc. We need your help to make this happen. Please join us in sharing information about the festival with everyone you know. Then we can all watch as God’s plan unfolds at Spirit Midwest 2009!

$5,000 Tagged Fish Added to The Fourth Annual Spirit Midwest Christian Music Festival!

We've added a new dimension to the Festival this year: A $5,000 TAGGED FISH! The contest will be open to all ages and will run from 11 AM - 5 PM as part of the Spirit Midwest Christian Music Festival which runs from 11 AM - Midnight at the Prairie Ridge Sports Complex, 1220 NW Prairie Ridge Dr in Ankeny on June 27, 2009.

With only a two-acre pond to swim in, this tagged bluegill should be an easy catch for some lucky winner - AND IT COULD BE YOU! There will be a $10 entry fee and the contest is subject to all fishing regulations as set by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources.

Other children’s activities scheduled throughout the day include a FREE inflatable village, The Amazing Chemistry Show, a magician, puppets, facepainting and more.

Teens and adults will enjoy the eighteen bands on two stages, National Guard climbing wall, guest speakers, concessions and merchandise.

Iowa fishing licenses must be purchased prior to registering for the contest. A complete set of rules will be available online soon!
